Sustainable Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Communications Director.
Robert Crawford joins the Sustainable Aviation team from the UK Civil Aviation Authority where he spent three years, and was most recently Head of Corporate Communications.
During his time there, he successfully managed communications for complex issues, including Heathrow Airport’s price control review, crises like the Flybe collapse, and key sustainability initiatives like the Consumer Environment Information Policy and the approval of Virgin Atlantic’s SAF 100 flight.
With nearly a decade of experience in transport communications, Robert brings great insight and strong relationships in the sector, having also held roles at the Office of Rail and Road and the Department for Transport.
Sustainable Aviation looks forward to the leadership Robert will bring to its communications and engagement efforts, as it continue to work with its members to make the positive case for a sustainable future for aviation and deliver on net-zero goals.
